Spiced Cauliflower and Yams

Head of Cauliflower, cut into florets
2 Large Yams, quartered lengthwise and cut into chunks
2 T. Bacon Fat or Coconut Oil
1.5 T. Bay Seasoning (you can also use Old Bay Seasoning or your favorite spice blend)
2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Sea Salt
Chopped Parsley, for garnish (optional)

  1. Preheat oven to 425F.
  2. Add cauliflower and yams to a bowl and toss with oil, to coat.
  3. Add seasoning, cinnamon, and salt. Toss to coat. 
  4. Spread cauliflower mixture onto a baking sheet and transfer to preheated oven. 
  5. Bake about 25-30 minutes, until cauliflower and yams are fork-tender and browned. 

This is my new favorite combination! Love, love, love this!!! I bet even kids will love this combination of flavors.
