Sushi at Fin

(A sad little cell phone picture...but, really...how great is this "roll"!?)

We have become "regulars" at this great sushi place, Fin...if you live in the Plano/Dallas area, you've got to try it out! We have visited many of the sushi places in this area, and have found this one to be the freshest and most accommodating, by far! When I first started eating Paleo we visited Fin with my cousin, Jenny, who just so happened to be participating in a "Paleo Challenge" at her local CrossFit. There were a couple of riceless rolls on the menu (Diane, Summer, Winter, and E-Flower), but what we were really craving was a Spicy Tuna roll. So the question became, "Could/would they make it happen!?". To make a long story short...they did and it, "The Fin Spicy Tuna Roll", is now on the "Specials" board from time to time...but it can always be ordered.

Well, today our sushi guy made us a special "roll"; it doesn't have a name, but it's pictured above. The Sushi Napoleon, we'll call it, is made of salmon, crab mix (this part has a little mayo...likely not homemade), spicy tuna, fish roe, and super white tuna...YUM!!! Yeah, this place is pretty cool! So, check out their website and stop in the next time you have a hankering for sushi.

Not a perfect combination, but I needed some carbs.

*The last clean was not very pretty...I need to be working that movement more regularly, as my body seemed to forget what it was supposed to be doing...

Today we worked on fully racking the bar, after the clean. This was a great workout!
